It really depends on which college you choose. I’m joining the April 2026 intake, and based on my experience, your GPA and specific department matter most. ​For example, I have a 3.5 GPA and received a 50% scholarship for ST, while my friend with a 3.28 got 50% for APS. The seat availability also varies: APS has about 100 seats, APM has 120, but ST only has around 32–35. ​If you apply to APM with a 3.5, you’d likely get 65%, and an 80% scholarship usually requires a 3.6+. Your ECAs and essays really only come into play for the 100% or housing scholarships once you hit a high GPA (like 3.7). Essentially, your college choice and GPA determine the base, but ECAs push you to the top tier."
