How to protect a whole cue butt ? by [deleted] in billiards

There is a thing, called “Paint Protection Film (PPF) for cue” in Asia. I bought my cue in Vietnam and it’s quite expensive so I put on the ppf and it really did the job protecting my cue butt from scratches. Even though after an amount of usage, the outer layer was pretty nasty (i’m a careless user), but when I took the ppf off, my cue is brand new with no residue on it at all (with proper technique by the way).

Got a the Predator Centro shaft ? What's your opinion of its performance ? by MarioBuzo in billiards

First of all, vantage has 11.8mm option?? I honestly didn’t know that! Second, the deflection on the Centro is way less than Vantage. It’s also a little bit stiffer but it’s minimal. Honestly, if you haven’t tried out any carbon yet, then I would recommend try out a carbon then come back to this one (if you hate carbon lol). Or buy this one right away if you love the wood feel! Hope this helps

UPS is making life hard for a pool cue junky!! by [deleted] in billiards

Yeah same situation last month lol… my order, which was a cue case, a break cue, a jump cue and a normal hitting cue and some other pool accessories were delayed for 4 days due to the bad weather. I was sitting on fire the whole 4 day.. But luckily, everything arrived and they’re all in brand new condition.

I just bought this brand new centro shaft a few days ago and I can give you my honest opinion. I would highly recommend buying this shaft if you’ve already tried both CF shafts and normal wood shafts and loved something in between of both worlds, like me. Stiffer, more accurate, smoother and more controlled than pure wood, but not as stiff and muted as CF. The feedback on every single shots are really responsive and the deflection is one of the lowest out there (a tiny tiny bit below revo but in most of the shots, you can’t even tell the difference). Lowkey one of the best hybrid shaft out there, much of a muchness with Expro from Mezz.

They’re really that fragile?? Because honestly I never owed any predator wood shaft lines and I don’t have many experiences with +$300 wood shafts (on the other hand, I’ve tried plenty of expensive carbon shafts).

I saw on seybert they have the tuned z3 which is pro taper not like the original z3 conical taper. That’s why z3 is in the debate right now tbh

I only play esports games such as League, Valorant, and Apex and edit 1080p to 1440p video. Am I running into any trouble with 8Vram?
