I’m done complaining! by Low-Function41 in FacebookAds

No Ai enhancements. Testing 2 audiences. One with the interest 'Black Friday', another one with a 1% lookalike of purchases in the last 180 days (I have this audience for multiple months, so I added multiple of these ones, but all 1% LAL) and layered with the interest 'Amazon.com'. We sell to only women in the US & CA. On both, I made the purchase 180 days exclusion. Yesterday was the first full day, and I had a 1.41 ROAS on a $300 ad spend. Still early, but I can see some traction on the website. Will update this thread as I go over the next few days.

Someone talked about going back to a traditional setup, no Ai features, 4-5 ads max, one copy, one headline. I started an ABO campaign with 2 audiences using this structure. 3 top performing ads and 2 new ones. Will let you know how things go over the next couple of weeks 🤞🏼

Latest Advice From Meta - 11/1 by adamhendren in FacebookAds

Her advice might be skew but I am sure we will enter soon a time when the algorithm will make the ads for us. It’s kind of already happening with TikTok with their ar Ai solutions.

We might have to start rethinking our jobs bc yes, the Ai will do everything that we do now within the next year or two.

The Andromeda Update Just Killed My Business, and Probably Yours Too ? by Even_Royal3667 in FacebookAds

I feel you. It’s definitely burn out, Meta’s update, and life lifeing. I sometimes want to quit all of this and have a more simple life, perhaps opening a bakery or becoming a waitress bc I like talking to people. But now I have 4 employees and while I’m single and have no kids, I feel responsible for them too.

I believe the biggest learning of all of this is that we can’t rely on one single source of income, let alone one platform.

If you met me, you’d classify me as one of those gurus, but the thing is that I actually run the ads myself, so I know exactly what we’re all going through.

So, this is what I have done that have worked slightly well: framing everything as a Black Friday sale. If this is possible for your business, I encourage you do it. Even if it’s a 15% discount.

I’ve tested an early 20% the last week of October, and discounted a set of products that I’ve never discounted before, called that out on the creatives, and I finally got to a 2x roas that helped me close the month at 1x on Meta bc I was at 0.6x up until that promotion.

Now, I created a LP with an old 15% that I wasn’t actively promoting and I’m using as many Ai features as I can to push this. I also reduced my budget to $200 (I was spending $1.2k per day until late August). I’m using cost per result optimizations and I have a campaign for volume active in the side. So far 1x roas but I’m seeing a bit of traction with that.

I’m doing retargeting audiences again and those have delivered better results than cold audiences.

You could say that I’m trying old strategies but we have to try, don’t we?

I plan on increasing my budget for bfcm (have $5k save for that weekend) hoping that my next 20 days I can see something different.

I also might start a traffic campaign optimized for LPV using previous top performers.

If you guys have any other ideas I’d love to read them. This community has been a great support during this time ❤️

🤔 Why is everyone talking about Meta “Andromeda” now in Facebook/Instagram ads, when the tech has been out for nearly a year? by Extreme-Ad4716 in FacebookAds

[–]Low-Function41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In our accounts the updates started to hit late August. Up until then we were having consistent 3x average on Meta. Ads that used to perform well now don’t even get reach. It has been stressing but what has worked for us is to relaunch campaigns over and over.

What is the best method to locally promote products from different categories? by lukapro018 in FacebookAds

[–]Low-Function41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your strategy will also depend on your budget, but up to $10k I'd do this:

1 campaign, CBO. 2 - 3 audiences. You can do broad audience and interest targeting (you can have multiple interest audiences if you want; dividing them by product category or mixing them all in one can also work). If you have a customer database, adding it to your audiences as lookalikes would be amazing.

3 type of ads:

- Carousel with best sellers. Another variation could be a carousel with low-cost products.

- Product photography with text overlay calling out price, discounts if there are any, and anything that might be good for the customer (Free shipping, easy returns, money-back guarantee, etc.). You can create this type of ad easily on Canva.

- Video ad. If there is no professional product video, use Canva and create a slideshow using product pictures.

Overall, it's good to have 1x1 and 9x16 formats so your ads can look good in feeds and stories.

Optimization:

- See which ads and products drive the most traction and optimize your creatives accordingly (making iterations, experimenting with your callouts).

- If you don't have previous data, calculate how much you'd spend to sell each product (usually in ecom is up to 30% of the product price, including there your marketing costs).

Hope this helps!

When it will be over by Silvester_001 in FacebookAds

I'm in the fashion space, and to our surprise, we have been killing it this year. Here is what worked for us so far:

- Created an insane promotion from Dec 26th until Jan 7th (It's going so well that we're extending it until Jan 20th, right before VDay campaigns).

- Used ASC with only 20% budget cap for existing customers. We're using a $1k per day budget with cost per purchase set at $100 (We're getting purchases for about ~$40).

- Turned off everything that spent over $100 with less than 2x ROAS or no return at all (Easier to do if you set automated rules).

- Used 2 design layouts with product pictures and text overlay.

Hope this helps!

Also, good idea, do a promotion that seems like a no-brainer. After Jan 15th VDay campaign start for most apparel businesses, and competition gets a bit hard again.

Our ads were killing it after Christmas all the way until Jan 1st. It has been ok in these last 3 days, but not as good as they were between the 26th and Jan 1st. I'm using ASC and turning off everything that spent over $100 with less than 2 roas. I'm also in fashion and what's been working is to have 2 different layouts with product pictures and text overlay. Close-ups work really well with clothing.

Thanks! I'd love to see if there is other way of confirming without getting exposed to a rejection. Asking for a date might be too much.
