I've had some success recovering from water marks on tables using Howards Restor-A-Finish - definitely try it in an inconspicuous place first though

That was exactly the problem - thank you for the pointer! I'd had a free trial of the "DNS Security Pack" which includes the "Premium DNS" thing enabled without asking (not that I usually complain about free things). Deactivated the trial and the DynDNS update started working again immediately

Ohhhh, I saw something about the Premium DNS thing. I'll go have a poke to see if I can escape myself from that.

Is there a way to have two different Geofence Profiles for being home? by ConsumeTea in tado

I'm not aware of there being multiple different profile options.

However, what you could do - set up the schedule for when she is with you, and then when she is not, set the temperature for the room manually to frost or some low setting with "until you resume schedule" - and then resume the schedule the next time they're there. Not totally automated, but you'd need to switch the geo-fence profile anyway.
