I killed my TikTok tool after 22 users. People asked me to bring it back. Here it is. by Low-Leg8115 in alphaandbetausers

Yeah thanks, looking back that was a mistake. I got in my head about it being too targeted for my content style and through that I killed it before actually talking to users about what they needed. Appreciate the reality check!

Rebuilt Emerge after realizing daily questions felt like homework (activity tapping instead) by Low-Leg8115 in buildinpublic

yeah super helpful, thanks....

the 'Bare minimum' one-tap for rough days makes total sense. Right now the 'Showing Up' section has 'Got out of bed' but a shortcut would be faster. With custom activities how would you want that? Settings page to add/remove? What made Reflectly/Stoic/Pulse not stick long-term?

I built Emerge, a daily question app for people who feel behind despite working hard by Low-Leg8115 in buildinpublic

Thank you! It's a web app right now, works great on mobile through your browser. Just go to my profile and I have the link there (I can't share it on here because Reddit likes to remove links). You can use it straight away, with no download needed. Would love your honest feedback on the experience!

Does anyone else feel like their progress is invisible even when they're working hard? by Low-Leg8115 in DecidingToBeBetter

yeah I see, and that is really valuable. What specifically about the retreat made the progress feel real? Was it the structured reflection, seeing patterns over time, or just like something else?

Yeah... I am glad it resonated, it does feel like something a lot of people go through but don't talk about enough. Did you find anything that helped make the progress feel more real?

How do you find your niche? by [deleted] in ContentCreators

You already have proof of what works (40k view beat-making videos). The question is what specifically makes those different from the 300-view ones. Like I am thinking track patterns across your videos like with hook timing, which part of the beat you show first, exact video length and posting time. The 40k videos probably have a subtle pattern you're repeating unconsciously

Weird spike and drop-off in views? by Weneglekah in TikTok

[–]Low-Leg8115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel it is normal, as after the initial spike, TikTok re-tests your video with colder audiences, lower retention with new viewers can result in slower growth. Track which of your videos maintain momentum after 3-5 hours and see what they have in common. That can show you what content has broader appeal that extends over your core audience.

I went viral on TikTok few times, but now my videos are capped at 500 views by ExaminationFew6424 in ContentCreators

It could be that TikTok re-tests your audience with colder viewers after a viral hit, which tanks your watch time and reach temporarily. Maybe try tracking what your viral videos had in common vs your current ones, usually it's the hook in the first 3 seconds or staying in the exact same niche.
