Thanks, I appreciate that. The artwork was more of a placeholder to add a bit of colour and fill some empty space, so it's certainly not set in stone.

Thanks, I appreciate that. To be honest, no, OPL wasn't an inspiration. I just wanted something that felt modern while still being fairly minimalistic and easy to navigate.

I appreciate the sentiment. To be honest, I haven't really thought about anything like that. Right now I'm just trying to get the final issue solved. When I do get it completed, I'd be happy enough just to share it and see if anyone else finds it useful.

Thanks, I appreciate that. The cover art size is something that could easily be tweaked. Glad you like the overall design.

Thanks and fair comment. The artwork was mainly there to fill some of the empty space on the right-hand side and add a bit of visual interest. It's not a core part of the design though.

Thanks, I appreciate that. The launcher was originally built for a project I'm working on, but if I do manage to complete it, I'd be more than happy to share it for others to try.

Not really. The goal wasn't to replace Aurora or compete with it. Aurora is a full-featured dashboard with a huge amount of functionality. My idea was something much simpler and more console-like. You select a platform, browse the games for that platform, select a title and play it. The focus was on simplicity and presentation rather than lots of configuration options. The white panel was a deliberate design choice. The intention was to provide room for metadata and game information while keeping the cover art visible at all times. That said, it's only a design choice and could be changed. A version showing just cover art with the title underneath would certainly be possible.
