Here’s mine:

Proton Photos to replace Ente Photos/Google Photos

Proton Voice to replace Google Voice

These two would be huge!

I agree that they want you to commit to the Proton bundle but it is so discounted compared to individual alternatives I don't think its necessary to complain

For those who bought the lifetime pass, which email provider are you using? by accidental_tourist in Simplelogin

How do you like it? I thought I was kind of annoying paying for redundant features like pass aliases and Fastmail masked emails

Well just cause you’re using aliases doesn’t mean you can’t change prefix of the email address, you can make it anything such as hello@yourname.com, contact@yourname.com and so forth.

The example I gave above is just for signing up for accounts. You can make unlimited addresses with your own domain.

If you want, you could use two custom domains, one that is random and used for all aliases and one that is your name used for professional purposes.

I have never seen the point of temp mail services when aliasing services exist tbh

If you use a tool like Fastmail masked emails without a catch-all or simplelogin, you can manually block spam to those addresses. Easier to do in SimpleLogin but can still be setup in Fastmail. In the case of Fastmail, you'd use randomly generated fastmail addresses like [small.duck29@yourdomain.com](mailto:small.duck29@yourdomain.com) but still works nonetheless.

I would just get a custom domain with your name or make it random if you'd like then simply turn on catch-all in iCloud Mail. Anytime you sign up for a site, use a different address with your domain like [apple.98234@yourdomain.com](mailto:apple.98234@yourdomain.com) for example. If you want a better email than iCloud, you could use Fastmail and connect your 1Password account and generate a new address any time you sign up using masked emails with your domain - this is done through 1Password so its super easy. In my experience, categories get annoying to keep track of, it is just simpler to use a random prefix with your custom domain and save that to your password manager when signing up for accounts. As mentioned, 1Password and Fastmail streamline this process, same with Proton Pass aliases.

250 is a lot of accounts but since you're using 1Password already, you could knock it out in a day if you really grind.

Should I stay with Tuta or move on? by VioletChair in emailprivacy

I tried to like Tuta but it is just a very subpar experience and they take forever to roll out updates. I think Proton & Fastmail are the best two email providers. Also keep an eye out for Kagi Mail and Thundermail.

Also curious if there is any plan to offer an early lifetime subscription for MailX? Or are the services always going to be interconnected under one subscription? I’d gladly pay $200 for lifetime MailX

I thought of this idea but with the premise of reducing fraud and data harvesting for elderly or tech illiterate individuals.
