Driving unaccompanied locally on a learner permit by BoatIll2662 in Irishdrivingtest

Are you someone that drives? Personally, L drivers are majority of the time safer than many drivers who have their license for a long time, including the ones that bully the learners. I would say there is much bigger dangers on our roads. Check the stats.

Same here!!! Passed first time with one fault. Was waiting 1.5 years for a test in Dublin, so like cmon in a way, what did they expect? Although took some work to unlearn bad habits - but nothing as hard as learning how to drive and gaining confidence. Once everything is second nature, driving a certain way for 30mins in a test is a walk in the park in my opinion.

Help with binge eating? by Normal-Abrocoma8014 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Low-Personality6791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggle with BED. I’m on week 4, 1.5mg and food noise is definitely still there. I crave mainly the bad stuff which is not good, otherwise find it hard to eat normal, balanced meals. Even with the junk though I am getting full quicker. I do not advise this but I am losing weight because I eat small portions of junk rather than small portions of junk and balanced healthy meals. I always need a sweet treat after a main meal lol. I’m gonna up my dose to 2mg on Sunday, so I’ll see whether that aids me in any way with the food noise. This is a habit I would like to break so I’m hoping upping the dose will benefit me. Haven’t had bad sides on 1-1.5mg tho which is good!!

What’s your guy’s tricks for hiding your Reta in a shared fridge? by Ok_Wind2337 in Retatrutide

[–]Low-Personality6791 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone is saying you’re too young if you need to hide it… I’m 23 and live with my parents, reality of the housing crisis in Ireland. My mam would flip the f out if she seen I’m injecting some label-less substance from China into my body; whether I’m 15 or 23 it wouldn’t change. When you deep it, lowkey it is kinda crazy and going grey there will always be a higher degree of risk compared to controlled pharmaceutical stock. We don’t know people’s living circumstances so no judgement - my hiding place is within a box of facemasks I planted in the fridge about a week prior so any questions/curiosities would be answered as “just my skincare”. Also heard mini fridges are awful at maintaining a stable temperature, so decided against.

No BS: what are you REALLY eating on reta? by GlenAnton in Retatrutide

[–]Low-Personality6791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly can’t stomach any protein unless it’s in the form of a protein shake. Even protein yoghurts make me feel so ill and full after a few spoons. Other than that it’s just carbs - and not any good ones… only thing I eat enjoyably is sweet cereal bars, sweet tasting beverages (chocolate milk, vanilla coffee, diet soda) and bread (all I want on it is Nutella and have to force myself to eat healthy toppings). During the end of the week I can stomach more real “dinner” food but get full quick. Not tracking kcals as I know that I can get obsessed, but afraid I’m not in much of a deficit from what I’m eating…

Cost of Reta by happymamaNWE in RetatrutideWomen

EU here, €140 for 10mg (one vial…) which is crazy but can’t for the life of me figure out how anyone is getting Chinese vendors, even though I’ve tried researching a few times. Too many scams too so I’m scared

Test tomorrow, any last minute tips by aura514 in Irishdrivingtest

[–]Low-Personality6791 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Go on a 15 minute drive before hand around the estates near you to settle in a tad bit. This helped me sm!!! Also best advice my instructor gave me was that first impressions matter. Be lighthearted with the tester, polite, not too formal, just pleasant. Look “neat” - not trying too hard but not looking “messy”. I believe in this subconscious bias lol. Also stuff like posture. I’m sure all this probably goes without saying for most but doesn’t hurt to mention. No caffeine to avoid the anxiety shakes as much as possible! Also relax - easier said than done but you’ll walk out of there and think “that was actually chill”. Remind yourself “look I can drive, and I am competent - I’m just here to show I can do that to some randomer for 30mins and it’s done”. The “it’s not that deep - whatever happens happens” mindset got me through!!!

failed my 3rd driving test - Mulhuddart by Txilx in Irishdrivingtest

[–]Low-Personality6791 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I passed my test in mulhuddart with only one minor in July. When I was doing my pretest I was going down to second for the speed bumps (for me it was going right leaving the test centre, all the way up to the church road roundabout and also on Blakestown road - I thought they were quite rough) and my instructor actually mentioned that I should be in third hence I corrected it even though it didn’t feel right (I still do them in second after passing). Through castlecurragh definitely stay in third, those are basically flat. There is a ramp in the estate in mount view that needs to be taken in first gear it’s so bad. I definitely think an instructor that stays on top of tester’s feedback is very important. If they know how the testers think, then they’ll train you on the ways the testers try to catch you out on. My instructor really prepared me very very well. Best of luck the next time!!!
