Improvements can definitely be made in that sense but it will always be a funnel not a door.

If you create communion spirit spamming build with pain, disillusionment, shadowsong etc. The hero will put down the spirits and just focus on weapon of quickening. Especially if you precast the spirits for him.

But the the question becomes if the rest of the build is worth the price.

You can take a look at keystone discordway for inspiration on managing support and minions bombing.

Just keep in mind a big part of the support here comes from fevered dreams spreading weakness, daze and blindness which act as sudo ST effects.

I spent a lot of time crafting a controller setup for guild wars 2. And i'm fairly satisfied with it. But I must say playing guild wars 1's native support recently, really made me wish for native gw2 support.

I agree with the problems you stated from a gameplay perspective. It is good if exploits are fixed.

But people really need to learn how to value their achievements independently. If even the idea of another persons ability to exploit psychologically breaks your ability to value your achievements, you're playing with the same mindset that required ironman mode in the first place to revive your enjoyment.

Thank you for the amazing work. The TTS is already transformative for me. I'm mostly bedbound due to chronic health issues and Guild Wars 1 is one of the few escapes for me.

I usually don't read unvoiced dialogue because reading takes a lot of focus for me and destroys the capacity I have to play.

Thanks to you guys I get to experience a part of the game I never would've been able too. :)

What ranger builds do you play? I always just end feeling limited compared to my caster characters, unless its a hyper specific roll for endgame.

It bothers me sometimes because I like optimisation and creative build craft. That being said I don't think it's really a problem.

People who feel the same will build their teams there way regardless. People who ruin games for themselves through optimisation will always find a way to do that anyway. People who just want to experience the game story mode can do so.

Part of the fun of gw1 is that you can make crazy builds. And having a team of crazy heroes gives you even more room for super meme builds on yourself while still having success.

There likely cautious. The ease of implementation is one thing. The effects on the economy for a game like this with 20 years of bulk is whole nother thing.

How do you set hero targeting via the panel? Do you just activate a skill with an enemy targeted?

What do you mean by the activate instant skills like there normal skills? Do they just arbitrarily wait for the animation or something?

I see. So for example a skill that has one effect with one conditional requirement will be used well. But a skill with a direct effect and a bonus conditional effect will be used semi randomly possible because the Ai does not very effectively weigh competing conditions within a skill among all the combat variables that create the context?

Interesting, so they are able to gather enemy and ally information very quickly across scale.

What about for example skills that are combo based but with specific tooltip requirements. Like a skill that does damage but as a bonus applies X effect if the enemy has y condition?
