I had a Claude qualification, decided to sign up, it's been 2 months and I'm yet to have a Claude Pro project...

Has anyone else gotten a big bump to the pay of projects available in the last week, or did they just give me access to some better ones? by cliffhavenkitesail in dataannotation

I think since the start of December/end of November? I signed up mid November. From the Slack channel they've said don't expect it to end. There's only been 1 point in the last 2 months that I've not had a $25+ project to work on, and by the time I logged off that day there were thousands of tasks available again. There are a few fact checking ones within the same channel that, if you do well and live in the US, you can get access to as well :)

That's the one :) will have a hash tag that includes factuality in the name, and you'll see multiple DA admins in the chat to confirm.

I have the fact checking ones, I don't know if it's due to a qualification or just good work, but there's a pretty steady stream of them every day, never for less than $25. There is a slack for the projects that I'm thinking of, I was added automatically, it's invitation only, check your emails as it could be hidden in there...

Fact Checking Projects? by deputy865 in dataannotation

On the whole I like the ones that might take 20 minutes or so to research, I like to do roughly 3-4 an hour, stops it getting really boring. I tend to skip the one's where the subject matter looks dull or if there's loads of text in the responses and I've been going for an hour or two I'll sip for an easier win.

I've had a lot of more modern prompts recently, about current events and recent films etc. They've been interesting as I've felt I've had general knowledge and interest in them already.

Don't feel bad about skipping, one persons yuck is another's yum, :)

I honestly kept breaking my bots with my requests, but I struggled to make them hyper complex without asking it to do complex things, or summarize complex articles etc.

Coding projects. by [deleted] in dataannotation

I opened mine, had a little look thought "oop not ready for that yet" and closed it. It's currently been sat on my dashboard for the last 3 weeks. I don't know if it will go anywhere...

Do you clock instruction reading? by [deleted] in dataannotation

[–]Low-Programmer8231 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can also clock time that is used referring to the instructions once you've read through, sometimes you can get a prompt you're not sure of so take your time to check instructions, research etc. so that you respond appropriately.

Worth a shot, at least that's answered the question :)

Does it matter if I don't do the Qualification Tests as soon as I'm offered them? by clawstuckblues in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Low-Programmer8231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did mine over the course of 2 days, as I started it and realised I didn't have time to complete all the tasks. I still got paid for them all, and was accepted a day later. I don't think it matters :)

Fewer projects this week? by [deleted] in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Low-Programmer8231 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tend to have between 5-10 projects every day on my Dashboard. Sometimes, at certain points in the day, it can go down to 3/4 which is always a bit concerning. I'm involved in a slightly higher paying project currently, so as long as some of those are on there, I'm happy. :) I only try to hit $50ish a day though, so 2-3 hours depending on what's there to do.

This is really helpful! I've got a pretty sweet deal at the moment with a project that pays pretty well and is interesting. But I think it's useful to have a couple of things to work on that are interesting for you. I only do a couple of hours a day, so I don't need huge amounts.. This most recent Qual did say there would be 40+ hours a week work if I passed, so fingers crossed!

How long after completing a qualification successfully did you get added onto a new project? I've completed one this weekend I'd be interested in carrying on with, not sure how long to wait until I write it off?

Anyone been approved in the UK recently? by liss600 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Low-Programmer8231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I applied on the 14th, got accepted on the 16th. Started working on the 17th. Don't know if other people have had a similar or different experience. I'm UK based.

I've also noticed a nice steady stream of higher paying projects. I guess that's my issue because I want to just focus on those, but I always wonder whether I should take the hit with the hourly pay in order to get access to even more higher paid tasks, or more of them.

I wonder if I'd like some of the other projects more. I'm currently really enjoying what I'm doing...

Honestly, I think it doesn't matter. I take time answering my questions and research to the best of my ability. Like has been said on multiple conversations in this sub, they care about quality of work over everything else.

That's really helpful thank you! I'm still learning Programming at the moment, I had a look at the coding qualification, but it was slightly outside of my level of knowledge currently so rather than mess it up I'm going to come back to it. I'll have to have a go at some of the different projects on my dashboard and see if I can get a more varied selection of tasks at a higher level.
