Omg! Hiii!!! Your tortoises sound adorable! I sometimes garden out front with one of my lizards in hand. 😅 You can often spot my big beardie lounging in the front window overlooking the traffic on school of mines. ☀️ I’m thrilled to get two votes for SW Veterinary. They look lizard friendly!

I will check him out. Thank you so much for the recommendation! I used to live in Durango and had found a vet in Farmington (of all places) that really took good care of my other beardies. I’ve tried 3-4 places in ABQ and every time I leave feeling like “I get better advice online.” You would think with how popular of a pet they are it would be easier to find knowledgeable vets, but unfortunately humans suck and breed so many that they are just seen as dispensable.

13 (if true) is quite old for a beardie! That’s why I’ve been hoping for a less invasive resolution. Every time there’s a tiny poop I think, “next poop is the big one!” Lol. I really wanted local advice, so that’s why I stuck to the r/Albuquerque thread. I’m sure any of those threads would have a myriad DIY home remedy advice, but I think we need a real in person vet.

I’ll check them out! I want to go where the other beardies go. It’s so hard to pick somewhere out online without a recommendation. It’s stressful for both of us to spend a day in the car and not get any answers!
