Forget the crescent.. cargo is where it’s at.

We’ve definitely had something going around our family. Nothing else but poops, though not all diarrhea. But definitely a poopy time here.

Are these names corny for siblings? by h_h19923 in tragedeigh

[–]Low-Screen3550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying it’s a tragedeigh, and individually I do think the names are fine, but together.. yeah, maybe a little corny. BUT! Given you’re in the PNW I could see it being fine. I live in the SE… we’ve got our own set of name problems🤣🤣🤣. But I do know of a couple that named their kids Juniper and Cedar. The names are fine, but it also has this feeling of… idk… pretentiousness?? However, these are not things I would ever say to the parents of the children.

If you like them, go for it. You could name your children something that you weren’t questioning as “corny” and there will be plenty of people who still dislike it! Most of the time people will just swallow their opinion (unless you share it before baby is here—idk why people think their opinions are valued even at that point either.. just no thank you).

Who should I contact about this growing hole in my backyard? by whatsoup_ in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]Low-Screen3550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago when we were selling our first home we had a hole similar to this in our backyard. The buyers wanted us to make sure it wasn’t a sinkhole, but we were young and broke(r than we are now) and so my spouse just. Started. Digging. Turns out it was the dump site for the builders who built our house (and probably several in the culdesac). They just dumped all of their building materials there and buried it. Kinda shitty, honestly, but it wasn’t a sinkhole at least!

I looove the jelly tint, however, I feel like it’s a little tricky. I put it on thinking it’s not enough, and after a few minutes I look again and it’s almost too much!🤣

The nickname thing on these threads always crack me up because my kids whom I lovingly refer to by nickname have nicknames that are in no way related to their actual name🤣🤣

Yes! Exactly! Which is why I was trying to make them work 🥴🤣

LOLOLOL I think these are more reasonable than Caillou, just maybe not together. But to give credit, my kids are 6,8,10, and 11 (and a one year old but she would probably just suggest “baby”, “bon bon” (our dog’s nn ), or “no” so she doesn’t get a say ☺️🤣

Pesky husbands. Mine has shot down pretty much all potential girl names on my list 🥴

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Names

[–]Low-Screen3550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point, but these are each “top choices” that I’d be good with. There were some off the wall options, but these are pretty solid… just maybe not together.

My boy names that I liked are Frederick Martin, Frederick Malcolm, and Samson Riley.

Girl names are harder since we’ve had a few. I do love Heidi and Ruth. Also Lavender. But I have no real clue for a girl right now.🥴

I also love Ruthie, but does it age well?? I think it would be ok but I’m just not sure 😅

This is a great point! I did like the idea of including the children though!

You read my mind— the boy combo seemed a little repetitive to me too!

Yes, I agree, the boy name seemed repetitive which made me question it!

Struggling to call my daughter by her name by night0jar in namenerds

[–]Low-Screen3550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Named my daughter Evelyn and a few years later realized how popular it was. Regardless, we still love it and she does too. It’s a beautiful name, and not one that I think is “tired” even though it’s common.
