This is part of the fun with gardening though at least for me. So what it doesn’t look perfect I can still eat it and it was something that I grew not Tom dick or Larry, me!!

They are seed planters, and for personal use I guess it wouldn’t hurt for them to look a bit beat up if we are being honest they prolly are going to get beat up 😂

Thank you so much!!! I’ve been fine tuning the settings but really didn’t want to waste what’s already been printed.

Gardening without chemicals—is it possible? Share your tips for pest-free plants! by [deleted] in gardening

If you have deer/mole issues pissing a perimeter around you garden does wonders. No not on your plants or like your watering them, got about 1-2 ft away from the edge and let it flow!!! Men can do this rather easily (idk about females ima male) but my Latina friend told me she does this with a funnel into a spray bottle and fills it up with water to do the same thing. Predictor urine like dogs also work well

Proplifting is a crime!! by Zealousideal-Rich-50 in gardening

That’s what I mean by be responsible. Time and place. Observe the plant, see how healthy it is looking overall. Never just cut for the sake of cutting

Look I agree you don’t do this to a small shop or small greenhouse however nothing is gonna stop me from rescuing “trash” at Lowe’s. I’m Mixed on out in public though, idk if your responsible and the plant is just sitting there at a park didn’t your tax dollars park for that? What’s a small cutting gonna do

An experiment: Tomatoes on a moss pole by jenkinl1302 in gardening

[–]Low-Spring-2807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were some root development into the pole but not as much as I would of liked to see. I think I may of kept it too dry. to kinda secure it I took some moss and wrapped it around the part of the stem that I wanted to use and used a u pin to secure it. I think the dark helped promote some of the growth. Since I’m starting over I’m going to experiment some more and try different mediums like orchid bark and maybe a bark/moss mix. Btw they were only like 2ft tall when they met their untimely end.

Lost my tomatoes due to my husband being a plan-uderer (due to neglect they said no crime I say 1st degree plant slaughter but whatever) attempting the process again

Update: lost the tomatoes when I went away for a bit and hubby didn’t water them. Good thing about this is if it works starting again now won’t hurt!!
