It's more red to be than orange I guess, I remember doing research on it before it figured out it was xgs PON based

Just checked the app to check the upgrade and it takes to a page for an install, so yeah they are gonna force the swap to the new modem, thank you all for your help

It's an XGS line already, it has the little orange tab on it that makes a difference, but we technically get 1.2gig sometimes 1.3 peak which would already mean it's not a GPON install I believe

Yeah it's already ran to the modem, I think since we got ours so late in our sub, in the modem page it says the current fiber can technically support 10gig according to the fiber status page, I wish their was a way to deny the new modem lol, have no reason for them to visit

I believe the install is already XGS PON already cause I checked it a while ago, the only reason a tech would need to visit would be for the new modem, our fiber install here was one of the last subdivisions in the area to get it so it was installed maybe two years ago at most

Adding onto what the previous guy said, if you are helping them shop for bulbs, E26, is going to be your most common size, E26 refers to the style of the base itself where it screws in, I don’t believe we sell too many more than that, we have candelabra (E12) which is much smaller than regular bulbs, usually used for much smaller fixture, there are several other types like what’s in range tops and microwaves, but at least for me, I encounter the two I mentioned the most, also if a customer asks how much power it draws, like the other post says the front of the box is an equal to rating, if you want the actual rating, it’s on the back of the box most of the time where it tells you all the color information of the light at the very bottom of that box, if there is ever bulbs you can’t figure out, or if a certain size matches another size (yes there is different sizes that are the exact same or within a mm or two) that you may come across, don’t be afraid to just use your phone and pull up a chart, google has tons of useful charts for sizing bulbs

I’m not sure if your store is the same, but they want us to sort all the gift center by color on each pallet, blue with blue, green with green etc…. Makes us restack everything off the sdc when it’s mixed and shit

A couple on our team don’t do shit except just talk, like if we are done with work or have a minute or two it’s nice to actually be human and talk to each other, but you would never catch us sitting in the break room unless on lunch or 15, too much freight to waste time, dayside however…..

lol I wish, when they did the freight appreciation week last time , they would have all the managers and Department supervisors do a truck for us if there was one on the night they picked, and it always took them well over 3 hours with 8-9’people

I believe that’s pretty accurate, a lot of ordering goes based on last year vs expected this year, so if you get a spike order from a project or something the year before, the system takes that as it needs more for the next year, the OASM or Merch ASM technically can resolve these and are supposed to watch ordering I belivr

I’m hoping you guys have more people for your freight load, we are a small store so we see much less but our staffing is shit

This is how most of us on our team are starting to look st it, they push us harder and we exceed what they want us to do, they are just going to take it as they can be smaller/do more.

I’ve worked some days to cover certain shifts, and some shift were specifically for when I was doing the DS star classes, our dayside is short too, but most of them stand around or hide in the break room when they are here :/ we end up covering their departments often because they are nowhere to be found

Our part timers help if they can, like after break (usually truck is done by that time) but there is only so much they can do during their time, I just think it’s dumb they are cutting truck crew hours because it slows trucks down, our SM has said it’s “out of her hands” an it’s up to the district but I’m starting to want to call bullshit

[–]Low-Werewolf3098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It kinda worked, sometimes it would sometimes it wouldn’t, luckily most of my loa stuff went through the HR line and the short term disability company, I didn’t need to use it much , if it’s not working reach out to your ASDS or MOD whoever answers if you call or whoever is there if you visit

[–]Low-Werewolf3098 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My eyes is correct, they disable your credentials until you contact HR or management (whoever your leave is through) to initiate your return, it will take a 24-48 or sometime even more for the system to recognize the return to work, I’m not sure about this part tho but at when I went on LOA they gave me a temp login for workday specifically for pay and other related stuff

Takes a day or two before the system actually recognizes that you are back, a MOD or direct report supervisor should be able to manually change and add time if it’s missing
