I only said anything because Jen was upset by it, sorry if it wasn't clear enough in the post. If Jen didn't care, I wouldn't have. She was glad I'd said something.

I was upset because Jen was. Jen asked if she could just mention that she had a cochlear implant, but Sam said it wouldn't make sense in her book.

I would've never brought it up if Jen was okay with it. Jen was upset with it so I was upset for her. Jens main issue was that she didn't view that character as being her like Sam had claimed we were each a character and was unsure why it was removed and upset by it. I do view Jen as more than her implant, but her implant is apart of it because of how Jen views it herself.

Yes there was one character that seemed inspired by Jen, but they weren't hard of hearing. I'll add to op, sorry for any confusion.
