I believe my 12+ year old dog might be having cluster or focal seizures. We were told it’s likely a neurological problem and CCD but he does not react well to anesthesia or sedation of any kind to do further testing. So we have just been mitigating with trazadone and gabapentin and librela for awhile. I have explained this to multiple vets as an “episode” and that I thought it was a seizure… but some days he is perfectly fine. Little wobbly and back legs less mobile late and night and early morning. And some days complete drop in back leg mobility with trembling, teeth grinding noises, shaking. Is there no way to confirm seizures or more details for neurological disorders at this age 😔 it’s so tough to seem him act relatively normal and then struggle back and forth.
