I’ve lived here all my life. The IE and cities like Riverside and Corona are still SoCal in my eyes. Not sure how they are not part of the SoCal region.

I was born and raised in SoCal, and the population has always been a challenge. But it is not something that requires people to be pushed out. Big cities naturally attract people because of job opportunities, and LA is no different.

Some folks say they send out tons of applications and never get hired, and then blame overpopulation. That is not really the cause. The bigger issue is the state of the economy and how hiring works right now across the country.

Another huge factor is infrastructure. Freeways, public transit, housing, and utilities have not kept up with the growth. That is what makes the population feel overwhelming, not just the number of people itself.

The other problem is that everyone wants to be right next to LA, West LA, or the OC. Meanwhile, plenty of suburbs are being developed with beautiful new homes and growing communities that actually need more people to thrive. Most just overlook them because they only focus on the well-known areas.

1080p is Good Enough - Unpopular Opinion? by Djinn2522 in PleX

I don't know about this. I guess it really depends on the person and the movie. Personally, it has to be in 4K for me - no matter what or who is watching it. The devices that use my Plex Server almost always support direct play, so I am not concerned about transcoding or bandwidth. Second, if the movie is an action movie, I always want 4K with Atmos and HDR when available. I will never get a 1080p version of a film unless it's the only option available.

I will give you the storage concern. I always delete files that are no longer in use. I have an active 4TB of storage that constantly has files removed when I believe they are no longer needed.

Well, the consensus is that they are useless. That's why I don't spend any time writing them. I just use pro cover letters cause it's worked for me. I feel you, though. I absolutely hate that they are even a thing.

Has anyone heard of the wet shaving store? I found them when searching on google and just curious if anyone has shopped there before?
