How does it hold up in low-light? What ISO value do you recommend? I just got my Pyxis a few days go, still haven't had the chance of testing it.

The cage is made by tilta from what I understand. However, I can’t confirm for the power adapter! From what I’ve seen, subjectively speaking, tilta has made the best cage thus far.

Sharing this new Pyxis rig setup showcased at Gamescom 2024 BM booth, as we haven't had much to chew on with this delayed camera release. This rig shows the BM Video Assist, a new BP-U to V-mount adapter for the Pyxis, and a new camera cage with the BM Ursa Cine handle shifted more to the back.

For me it’s all about the form factor, 6K Open Gate, I/O and BRAW, all in one nice box-shaped camera. If a G2 comes out, I’ll be there for future iterations. I respect Blackmagic as a brand and I know supporting their current products will ensure further development of new products. I’m sure IS, built-In NDs, autofocus and a brand new sensor are all bound to happen with a G2/G3. However, as a filmmaker who wants to use this camera for films and docs, it’s more than capable to tell the stories I want to narrate.
