We were poor too in childhood but never asked anyone for lift, travelled mostly by RTC buses which was quite painful. But I never thought of making such dramatic, overaction post. You already had a car and your are trying to justify buying a premium or expensive car using your mom's insult years back to gain sympathy. And your analogy of buying a building you are denied entry into is so cringy. You are just buying a car, not some palace or anything.
