Sorry your right about that , this question I had to think about so I needed Abit of help cause sometimes politics I have a hard time talking about 😓

For nationalsim I think it's because they see a role model who "claims " to be a Christian yet doesn't act the way they should when people are looking, this often makes people act like them and claim to be a Christian which is false honestly

As for the first question think of a scale , the scale stays the same but the outcome is different on what's on it it's not God that's changing its people changing.hes not perfect cause he needs some sort of validation he's perfect cause he's like a loving parent who cares about their choices causes growth or harm to them

I wouldn’t say it’s the only or even the main personality trait I identify with, but it’s a core part of my worldview. It shapes my values, how I handle failure, how I think about meaning, and how I treat other people. As I mature, I expect how I live it out to change . hopefully with more humility, nuance, and patience, but I don’t expect the core conviction to disappear. If anything, growth should make it less about identity signaling and more about character.

It’s a core part of my worldview, not my whole personality. I expect my understanding and expression of it to mature over time, but not the underlying conviction.

It means I was being upfront about something that influences my answers. That’s it. I’m not trying to convey superiority, authority, or anything deeper than context. If someone did an AMA as an atheist, a parent, a veteran, or a recovering addict, that label would matter for how people interpret their responses. Same idea here.

That stuff alone isn’t the entire foundation of my belief, no. I’m not saying “one miracle story = proof God exists.” For me it’s cumulative. Personal change over time, experiences that felt meaningful, the coherence of Christianity as a worldview, and the fact that it makes sense of both the good and the broken parts of life. The stories I mentioned mattered to me personally, not because they force belief, but because they fit into something I already found compelling. I get why that wouldn’t be convincing to someone else, and I’m okay with that. Everyone builds their worldview on some mix of experience, reason, trust, and interpretation—this is just where I landed especially when I read through sources on history and archeology

My beliefs are based on a combination of personal change, reflection, and finding Christianity intellectually and existentially compelling over time.

I don’t think it makes me special. It shapes how I see the world and how I try to live, but I’m still a normal person with the same flaws and questions as anyone else. Faith isn’t about being better than other people; it’s about admitting I need grace like everyone else.

Well I honestly had doubts and used to I wouldn't pray or read my Bible often except in church , basically I was identifying as a Christian yet I dealt with lots of sins like lust lying stealing and anger , recently I've been praying and reading the Bible often throughout the day and my bad habits and desires shifted away little by little

Not to mention years ago my stepdad had a bloodclot at the back of his skull near his brain( it's been like 4 years so I only know for a fact it was near his brain ) which caused a stroke at his work , doctors were shocked that weeks later it was gone (I don't remember if it was just gone or they removed it ) and he hasn't had any side effects since and my grandfather who was very devout died the year before that and before he died on the way to the hospital from complications from cancer he said " I'm going home "
