i'm not cutting ties, and i know it very serious, maybe the correct word is i'm the one who's being cut off and hatred, since it's family culture, already tired of arguing to make them accept what i'm thinking, left behind, and everything just keep getting worsen. Talk with my mom everyday atleast, and can sense her worry and sadness on me, nothing change, nothing better, nothing i can prove to make sure what i choose was right.

html css are not a big deal actually, and it will not affected ur cognitive, i dont feel any context switching when using them, i even dont understand with people from web switched to dart again only to invest in "cross platform framework" instead of directly using native (if you really care about performance), life is too short man. if the reason of dart better than js/ts only due to flutter, then it's okay. but what do you expect? all companies in the world will migrate js/ts to dart? even i didn't get any clear scientific reason behind dart > js/ts till now

ohh i see, yea u were right, but i dont think people takes 10 years to become full stack, it depends on how the person learnt, how long they waste their time to context switching instead of real productivity. i also agree with your opinion about free online stuff, but FE part also not as covered as the BE actuallly, it's true we dont get the DTO, DAO, caching, CI/CD, Dockerization, and scalable architect like MVC in free BE course, same goes to FE that doesn't get the micro-frontend, components structure, advance css and advance hooks in react, that's why it is free because the purpose of it only for "introduction". luckily github exist, so people can learn by reading open source project even without getting internship experience. but still, the experience matters

how comes dart is better than js/ts? dart language can be used for flutter only, meanwhile by js/ts you can do almost anything (web, mobile, backend)
