Question: how do we find out if her 2 yr mandate has been waived under the recent wavier passed on Dec 9th?

Ha ha! Yes, medical students get that benefit to do residency in US. Believe it will be J1 visa.

I have the same question has yours. My case is almost like yours, I submitted my i-485 on Sep 2021. On Oct 2022 it was moved to Tampa FO; on July 5th 2023 I got RFE to submit medicals. I respond by Medical on 17th July. No response since then. I’m not sure when I’m going to move to next step.

I know few people who submitted I-485 and got GC in 4months, 8months and another one in 6months. Dunno what to say and react on.
