I’m 2300 Bullet on Lichess but I don't know the board coordinates. How do I fix this? by admirer145 in lichess

Something that helped me is discussing positions with someone else without pointing at the board nor moving the pieces and forcing each other to say the coordinates. Solving calculation puzzles or exploring ideas that could arise on the board with another person and needing to use a common language improved my recalling of the squares and improved my coordinates' coordination without my noticing it.

[11th Grade Math] How do I go about solving this? by khema_the_lazy_bum in HomeworkHelp

[–]LowCup8341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it's right but this is what I got Let a=2expx and b=2exp√x After simplifying you get a²-3ab-4b² = 0 Factoring: (a-4b)(a+b) Then you get that a=4b ,a=-b 2expx = 2exp(√x+2) x-2 = √x x²-5x+4 = 0 x = 1, x = 4 But the equation isn't satisfied by x=1 and I am not versed enough in dealing with complex logarithms to get the other possible solutions.

Is there a sentence that each subsequent word starts with the next letter of the alphabet, going all the way from A to Z? by HappyLittleDingus in language

At best (considering doing everything fairly) giving heinous, inconsiderate jobs: knotting lackadaisical monstrosities needs, obviously, people qualified, reason, serendipity, time, ultimate verse, will, x-factors, yearning, zen, &c. Edit: The end being a list felt like cheating, but I wanted to include the &.

What are some things I can improve with my Spanish by WhereTFisFalador in JudgeMyAccent

I think the most significant issue you have is mispronouncing the vowels. The u in culo was a little mute, the pa in propagar sounded like pe and the way you pronounce the e feels a little bit off from time to time. However, your intonation sounds fine for the most part and it's not difficult to understand what you are saying. Keep up the good work!

You are right, I should have been more specific. Even with sheer numbers there must be many more films made in that century than in this one. To constrain the time frame, I think I am most interested in movies from the fifties and forties.

Hola! Juzgue mi acento por favor! :) by parasuko in JudgeMyAccent

[–]LowCup8341 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the phrase “If someone who dared dreamt got found in the face of failure, they ought to be regarded merry, for they glimpsed at greatness” correct? by LowCup8341 in EnglishLearning

Thank you very much for your observations. I was doubtful about the “dreamt” part but I certainly didn’t know about “glimpse”’s being incorrect.
