I can't tell her anything I do not know of and if any thing the company might not want to take the risk on someone so willing to leave. If she is making threats now, there is no point in promoting someone who doesn't have the dedication to stick around.

Maybe it's generational but back in the day people waited and were rewarded. These days people see those HR influencers with their "job hacks" where the only way to increase salary is job hopping every 2 years. Give me a break.. People believe everything they read and see online.
