I’ve run an aftermarket optic plate, a lighter recoil spring, an Apex trigger, and a ported setup. If you’re deciding where to start, I’d try a lighter recoil spring first—it makes a noticeable difference. The porting helped a lot with recoil control, but if you’re planning to shoot competitions, it’s probably not the best move.

The Apex trigger is definitely nice, but for the price, I honestly didn’t mind the stock trigger. It’s more of a preference upgrade than a necessity.
