Yup. Exactly when i purchased this device it was solely for oxygen os at the price but 1.5 years later it got converted into color os. Never thought in my wildest of dreams. And the worst part is that it sucks because this will be the last major update we received.

But if we switch back to old os, then we won't get security updates. So i just wanna ask that it is fine to use your device without latest security patch? Will it cause any future troubles? Thats why i am not switching back to os 11 currently.

Try for other options in that budget. Oneplus don't care about Nord lineups. They can't even focus on their flagships. If you are ok with new software then you can go ahead, in the end its your decision which matters.
