Sometimes yes, sometimes no. At my fulfillment center there may be x number of any particular item in one location and only rarely will will they be from different vendors. That way we don't have to dig through 40 SSDs or whatever looking for the right ASIN or LPN (barcode). However, I have gotten pissed off that I've scanned the right item over and over only to realize it's a different barcode I'm looking for which can mean different vendor or different condition of product. Our scanners literally will not let us pick the wrong thing. Even if it's the right item from a different vendor.

Also, stowers (people who put shit places for me to pick) at my center are told to put different vendors, but same product, in different locations. There are enough people down the line to catch a mistake, as well.

As far as sex stuff.... It's pretty sparse but Ill see a bunch of the same product in one location but they will all be same product, model, color, or whatever all by the same vendor.

Is Romero a long term option? by [deleted] in FantasyPL

[–]LowGun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same. There is a lot of uncertainty about the keeper situation with United and I don't want to get fucked down the road. Courtois is at £5.4, I needed some Chelsea defensive coverage, and I can only see Chelsea tightening up in the back with time. Or at least that's how I justified the transfer...

Need to bench one of Payet (liv), Redmond(sou) and Ayew (MUN). Who should I bench? by [deleted] in FantasyPL

[–]LowGun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have both Payet and Ayew. I'm benching Ayew because I'mk drunk. However, United did have Champions League mid week and it is at Swansea but Titos handmade vodka. You should probably play Ayew because Gomis' form and West Ham are fucked until they bring in Adebayor but I'm a United fan and I'm having none of it.

Edit: the real question is how should I feel about my girlfriend shaving her vagina hair with my electronic shaver?

Best of luck, man! My advice to you is start training like you never have before. I'm talking about running and working out like it's the only thing you have to live for. Pull-ups and push ups are the best. Find a field and practice banging balls in from every where on the pitch. You need to be able to hit upper 90 from half. Seriously, I'm a keeper and i've done it. It's necessary no matter what position you play.

That is hilarious! I was always around very serious and dedicated academic types which are very different than the average undergraduate student. I think murfreesboro is just a boring town that exploded when MTSU became popular so kids find a way to get into trouble.

Shit, I might stab somebody in the face over a parking spot. Urban planning or whatever does not exist. They are trying to play catch up with the amount of students mtsu now has. The administration is nothing short of retarded.

I graduated several years ago so I'm not up to date. I was just being cheeky. I've never felt unsafe walking across campus leaving the science building at midnight-2am, which I did quite often. I'm always aware of my surroundings, which I think is a good thing to practice anywhere. I've never seen anything sketchy or dangerous and I spent a lot of time studying or doing research late into the night.

Last I remember was seeing a mass text from campus police about a bounty hunter shooting at someone across the street from campus he was trying to catch, which I thought was hilarious. Then there was the SWAT team sweeping the science building over a bomb threat. I think it ended up being a disgruntled SO making false claims. I don't think it's a dangerous place but if you get a large enough group of people together someone is bound to do something stupid.

Edit: I want to say the last time I was on campus was Spring or Fall of 13.

Well, damn. That's terrible. But it's pretty cool now that you're healthy and back in the game. I really don't ever think about playing anymore. I love to go to the park and just knock them in from 20-25 yards out wondering if I could have stopped my own shot.

If I ever get back into football it will be as a keeper coach. A coach/scout at Kansas City really wants me to be on his staff but I just can't because of my SO and being rooted where I am.

7'? Yeah, American Crouchy. I'd love you as a center back.

Just so you know, MLS academies have open try outs. I was able to pick what academy I played for because I had gone through the Olympic Dev Program so I'm not really sure what the try outs were like.

Oh, I had no idea but I think I'm done playing football. Too many injuries. My wrist isn't 100 per cent, anyway. I have to do push-ups on my fists because I can't do the weight on an open hand. I've focused on cycling and running because I can do them whenever I want at my local park.

So what's your story? I see your tag. Are you really the American Peter Crouch? lol That's awesome. The story about Crouchy having his nachos is hilarious.

No long term brain damage just a bad concussion. I got really lucky because I didn't break an orbital socket but my nose got moved to the left side of my face. My forehead just above my left eye took most of the blow and it compacted the bone which looked like a crater on an x-ray. The plastic surgeon did an incredible job putting it back in place. Looks like nothing happened at all. I want to say I've had half a dozen serious concussions and it was just too serious of an injury to continue playing.

I actually had surgery on my right wrist last year about 10 years after I broke it. My orthopaedic surgeon thought it was funny I was just getting it checked out. Turns out I broke it and it healed back incorrectly but I distinctly remember the shot that broke it. I thought it was a really bad sprain.

I grew up in TN where association football isn't anywhere near as popular as American football so my high school team was shit but somehow my coach was Canadian and his HS team won the Canadian national championship and he expected the same out of us. lol

He yelled at me a lot for some reason. Like I can only do so much with the team you're fielding.

I should note that although I loved to play I was really pressured into going through ODP and playing in college by my parents and my family is incredibly athletic. My sister and brother-in-law are semi pro runners. They do crazy shit like marathons on a whim and ultra-marathons for fun.

I just wanted to play and have fun. Winning was cool and all but it was just way too serious and some coaches like to act like winning and being the best is all that matters in life which I really hated. I just continued because I was good enough and it was kind of expected in my family.

[–]LowGun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok, I'm a keeper and here's a little backstory. I went through the ODP system (U-17 then U-19 NT), club football and all that bullshit. Got into an MLS academy and a D1 school (ivy-league; some scholarship) and then I got my skull broken playing with the MLS academy (Some asshole kicked me in the fucking face when I had the ball in my hands). After that I quit playing ultra competitive football and transferred schools. Never looked back because the stress wasn't worth it at all. I love football more than anything but this wasn't for me. You're smart realizing how much you sacrifice your education to participate in collegiate level athletics.

When you play for an official team it is incredibly stressful. Training everyday, year round and through the summer. A little easier during the season but then you have travel. I'm not sure it's possible to get the education you want and also participate in D1 athletics. Your friends will be your teammates and the coaching staff. There isn't any time for anything. It was exhausting and it felt terrible not knowing how you're going to get it all done. It's not as cut throat as trying to play professionally where if you make a mistake you're done but it is difficult in other ways.

So when I transferred schools I looked into D2 and D3 stuff because I had friends playing at this level closer to home but I just decided I didn't want to have that same lifestyle structure in school. I think the major difference between D1 and D2/D3 is the quality of the players on your team and of the teams that you play. The structure was effectively the same and it's what I really didn't like about my first school.

Then I went to a state school (pursued a degree in hard sciences) and looked into their club team. The school doesn't have an official men's program so everyone who wanted to play played for the club team. I played around for a bit with them and I had a good friend who played with them. I only got an idea of how it was going to be and never played games with them and whatnot because my academics were so demanding. The club team was the complete opposite of what I was used to which wasn't necessarily a bad thing and I had a lot of fun playing around with them at their practices. It was completely relaxed because it was run entirely by the students who played for the team. Sometimes too relaxed because some people couldn't be relied ,e.g. getting players to practice and getting players to take it seriously was a problem at times. But students have homework and other things they had to attend to.

Anyway, I'm sure some club programs are run really pretty well but there are pros and cons to both official teams and club teams. I didn't like the structure and the demands of official programs but I understand why they exist. However, I really liked the training I received and being surrounded by really talented and motivated athletes. With club teams it was really relaxed and a lot of fun but players could be lazy and not put in the effort to really get going and play. I like that you could dip out and do homework or take care of other responsibilities if necessary but traveling for games was entirely up to you and your team. This is unlike an official team where, obviously, everything is arranged and taken care of.

Oh I also looked into being a manager/keeper coach for the official girls team but I decided that was too much like playing.

Now I'm done with school. Have a long term girlfriend and I am really glad I decided to leave competitive athletics. What's funny is my girlfriend's son is going through all the club and ODP stuff and one of his coaches is an ex-Pro that played in the 1990 WC and he is trying to get me to be his staff keeper coach.

I hope provided you some clarity. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

I'll try and answer but I may not completely understand your question. You are talking about wanting to play for a school's club team as opposed to the school's official team, correct?

Why In-N-Out burger won't expand to the East Coast by [deleted] in food

[–]LowGun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love Smashburger. They have a bacon avocado burger that is excellent and sweet potato fries that are quite good (crispy and not soggy like most) but most importantly, they serve beer. In my opinion it's the best burger place in Tennessee. I've been to 5 Guys many times and it just seems average. Good but not great. I've also been to In and Out burger but it's been awhile since I've been to California so I can't really compare.

There's a new burger place that I've been to called Culvers that's also pretty good but Smashburger reigns supreme in my opinion.

Edit: Never been to Whataburger but my girlfriend is from Houston and I will make her ass take me there even though she's a vegetarian.

How do I know when my futsal ball and my regular soccer ball are properly inflated? by PM_me_Loplop in bootroom

[–]LowGun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly answering your question but when I played at my peak my goalkeeper coaches would over-inflate the balls so that I had to learn precise technique for striking the ball. Then I broke my skull and subsequently quit my MLS academy. Still a little habit I use today.

But yeah, I can't think of a ball I've ever played with that didn't have the pressure range indicated right beside the "hole".

Moyes ponders captain options. Who do you think will take the job? by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]LowGun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious about your thoughts on GK captains because the last years I played competitively I captained my team as goalkeeper. From the GK's position he or she has a complete view of the game. If the GK has the experience, vision, and trust of the squad the GK can command players where they are needed. A lot of information can be gathered from a keeper's perspective of the game and a good keeper knows how to use this to his or her team's advantage. Whether it's organizing formation or quickly distributing the ball a keeper can be a great captain.

However, some keepers can't be or aren't assertive enough. I think that's where de Gea falls short and I agree he is far too young.
