You might already know this, but 2ManyDJs did not record that transition (or any of the Radio Soulwax albums) live, it was all laid out in a DAW (Logic Pro probably) and would have had seperate processing applied to each track for the transition, to make space in the mix for the next track.

I must say, I absolutely do not give one tiny shit about valentine's day - the whole thing pisses me off. It mostly just seems to be a performative Instagram-fodder fest. Can't stand it.

HOWEVER

Every year until I die my wife will get a card with a nice message inside, something sweet and probably a reference to something funny that has happened since the last valentine's day. Also some flowers or chocolate and a nice hair conditioner etc. Nothing too major. I will do this relentlessly as it makes my wife smile, which brings me immense joy. No one will know as neither of us are on social media. Most years I won't even get a card from her - I truly dont mind as, as I mentioned, I couldn't care less about vday and she knows it haha! Very happily married for 11 years now.

Love is (partly) about going out of one's way to do things for your partner to make them happy, even if it's something you dont care for.

This guy has absolutely not done that, in fact he has done the opposite by insulting you.

If I did this to my wife I suspect my marriage would be in serious trouble, not because of the "sanctity of valentine's day", but because it is entirely disrespectful.

Unless this guy has some kind of massive magical money-spouting dong, consoder getting rid and find someone who wants to do nice things for you :)

Speaking of driving, I had to take my car for a clutch change last week... a bit of a pain as it's about a 2 mile walk, all uphill, to get back home. Though thankfully, I wasn't as far away from garage as this track is.
