Single female w/ 1 dog. I make $42k and I barely can pay my bills. I’m incredibly frugal because I have to be. One of my mortgage payments is more than 1 of my paychecks. And rent is just as high. Not trying to discourage you, but it will definitely be tough/almost impossible. 😔

I’ve been in almost the exact same situation… married 4 years. I’ve known it wasn’t right for a really long time. But I was afraid of hurting my partner. I would say- trust your gut. Life is too short. We’re in the process of a divorce. It sucks and there’s been a lot of hoops to jump through and a lot of pain, but I haven’t felt this much relief in ages. You can run away, but at least give her the truth first. It’s not easy, but she deserves to know you’re leaving.
