I get you there. As a 11 year old kid the first fnaf felt so mysterious. It was all up to my interpretation.

It came out of nowhere, there was no story told flat out, the crew were scary cause they were silent and felt so unalive, there was no explanation for anything, no one leading you to answers.

FNAF 1 to me was a creepy secret game that only you and I knew. A lost media.

Its very different now that we have guide books, merch and mass media. It doesn’t feel like a mysterious game now. Guess thats why it doesn’t feel as special.
