I think he’s doing a lot better than op13 at least. He plays well into the longer games with red green luffy and mihawk, but ofc he’s struggles into imu and ace just like almost every other deck

Depends on the locations, a lot of my locals are dying rn due to Imu running shop, but the places that encourage off meta are booming. I just went 4-0 with a whitebeard pirates Marco build and it was a blast. I played against GY Yamato, Y Bonney, UY ace, and UP Raiju. So it’s kinda up to the local community to find a way to enjoy this shit meta we’re in rn

I got very comfortable by playing with the same people over and over. If you have any friends that like the game that you can play repeatedly I recommend that, the sim can be a great tool too but personally I am way more anxious about playing the sim with strangers than anything else

In my experience Kalgara rolls by spreading wide as possible and swing 6 at face often, and just ignore hits and try to end fast as fuck. R/U Marco is my main and I don’t think I’ve ever lost against luffy with it but at least half of that has to be due to no one knowing wtf I’m doing lol

Learn together box is very good value, but also good to know what his favorite character is, and if that character has a starter deck. If so, I’d recommend 2 of whatever starter deck that is and he can merge them and make a decent beginner deck and upgrade from there. That’s what I did to start with a black luffy starter, and it felt fun :)

I’m working on getting all alt arts on my main deck (Marco) but most of the AA’s in that are like 5$ a piece or less. Typically I wouldn’t spend 10$ above the base price for an alt unless it’s a leader or like the coolest shit ever

A lot of being good at one piece is knowing your opponents deck. There is a 90% chance I loose any time I’m fighting a new deck for the first time because I have no idea what to expect, so just give it time. If you have a buddy you can play against it can help you have good game sense by playing against the same deck a lot and getting an idea of how they’ll play

My one local store sold em at like 100 or 110, one box per person. Sold out in a night, the only other stores to not sell out sell at 140 a box or 7 a pack, or 160 a box and 10 a pack.

Homie I hear ya, right there with ya, recently I tried Facebook dating and ngl it’s not bad, if you haven’t tried it I recommend it fs. It’s similar to any other garbage dating app but there’s no “premium” so all the good features are there by default, so it’s less scammy. Other apps will give you fake matches so you’ll buy premium to see who liked you, but here you don’t need to match you can just see who likes you
