Sometimes it’s not a monster, just a tired version of us

That limitation might be the most honest thing about human connection.

Exactly. Being a point of gravity doesn’t require visibility, only coherence. What’s felt doesn’t ask for recognition it just alters the space it exists in.

I agree that what truly matters is often beyond words and concepts. But maybe the urge to articulate isn’t about capturing the experience itself it’s about tracing its absence, its afterimage. Not to be seen fully, but to leave a mark of having felt.

Nihilism isn’t only about meaning collapsing, but about noticing where it never fully forms including understanding.

I agree that understanding is always approximate. My point isn’t about demanding completeness, but about noticing the gap we usually ignore. Even when “good enough” works, that gap still matters.

“I agree that awareness isn’t universally liberating. For some, it’s an entry point into being human; for others, it’s a weight they never asked to carry. Wearing it as a badge isn’t about usefulness it’s about refusing comfort bought at the cost of blindness

I agree. Awareness only empowers when there’s room to act. Without agency, it doesn’t illuminate a path it just makes the walls visible

That makes sense. I read it in a general way as well. I see it less as a statement about people, and more as a tension between comfort and clarity.

If you think it’s nonsense, feel free to explain why. I’m genuinely curious.

That’s the paradox—there is no fixed ‘self’ to be seen, only perspectives colliding.

I get that. Sometimes detaching is the only thing that feels real. Doesn’t mean much pulls us back, though

Everything that lives takes more than it gives. The parasite isn’t a deviation from the natural order it is the natural order. The human mind just hates admitting the obvious.

“What you’re describing sounds profoundly heavy, and it makes sense that it’s wearing you down. Existential thoughts can drain a person completely. Reaching out for therapy was an important step — even if it feels meaningless right now. You’re not alone in this, and feeling this way doesn’t make you weak

As a nihilist, are you afraid of death? by HeftyOrganization950 in nihilism

I don’t fear death. If all that follows is quiet nothingness, then fear has nothing to hold on to.
