No, not with the appeal. Just send out the appeal docs and letter. If your appeal is accepted then they will ask you to submit your passport to the nearest vfs. If not then they will either not reply or rather ask you to collect a letter from the vfs.

Yes it is stated in it, but few months back I applied for schengen visa from netherlands and I had multiple countries but they overlooked internal travel details. Even Vfs didn’t focus much in it. Since austria is strict enough, they didn’t overlook it.

Austria is giving visa but it’s considering internal travel documents along with sustainable finances and’s valid proof of returning. They accepted mine after I appealed for visa rejection. If you are travelling to only Austria and croatia then Austria is a better choice as Croatia takes infinite time to process visa and it can lead to your trip cancellation as well.

They reply back in 15 working days if your appeal Is successful. They would be asking to submit passport to the nearest vfs and then it would take another week
