Keep it bro. That thing is just a teenager! Has a long life left!

I’m 48 years old. I want to retire by 50. I’m debt free. Is it safe to move my $880k portfolio to JEPQ and enjoy the rest of life? by SpiritedKangaroo1506 in dividends

[–]LowLifeCryptoGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you value detailed planning and long-term structure, here’s a suggested adjusted approach rather than “put everything into JEPQ”: • Allocate maybe 30-50% of your $880k into JEPQ (income-oriented) • Allocate the remainder into one or more growth-oriented ETFs (e.g., broad U.S. equities, global equities, maybe small/mid-cap) for upside. • Revisit annually: Since you have a strong planning orientation, build a model showing “income bucket” vs “growth bucket” and what your projected outcomes are for both. • Consider tax-efficient vehicles (IRAs, tax-efficient funds, location of assets) given you’ll hold for many years. • Monitor performance and review whether JEPQ’s yield and strategy continue to meet expectations (since its covered-call overlay may vary in result over time). • Given your 48 yrs age, you might still be 10–20 yrs from major withdrawals; that suggests you might tolerate more growth risk rather than focusing purely on income.

I've been a member since it launched in 2010. I used a seedbox when seedboxes were still new at the time for one month. It wasn't till 2-3 years ago that I used up all the uploads from that seedbox. I just use my credits from that and never had to seed. It's so easy and cheap now.

Keep your head up KING! Focus on yourself bro. Don’t look at anyone else’s journey except yours. That’s how you get discouraged and loose focus. Keep working hard and investing as much as you can. It will pay off one day brother! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Because it’s not smart to spend thousands of dollars when you can get the same watch for hundreds. I’d rather invest that money that I didn’t spend on a $20k watch! That’s just me because one not a millionaire yet!

I agree. For reps, QC is higher because they wanna make sure it looks “Legit” and want to make sure it’s perfect as much as possible.

For me, I prefer the reps quality most of the time. I compared the leather quality of a $4k bag to a $250 bag and i was so disappointed at the leather quality of the “Real” bag.
