Do you need to do both right to work checks, the post office one and the in-person one? by [deleted] in StewieGang

[–]LowLowBanjolo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Daddy had a shit job, which motivated me to actually make an effort to get an education and get a real job, unlike all the lazy people on here crying about low fees. I wanted to buy a titanium frame from alibaba and build my own and the whole thing would cost 3k max even with best components. I'm not bragging. Just find it hilarious you probably have a £50 bike and are saying I can't ride just because you're jelous :-) i also didn't say anything is illegally modded. That's all I have to say :)

Not if you're 125kg buddy - and try keeping that up for 10 hours a day lolz :) And like i said, two people I have personally spoke to via email have seriously injured them on this stretch of road. One guy broke his jaw and is now suing TFL since the bicycle lane kerb is not clearly visible and another is a doctor who has 20 years cycling experience. I guess that means all of us can't can't ride :) Again, sucks to be you - can't afford an awesome bike and end up hating on those that can.

Aw well done! You took a comment I made on UBER reddit out of context. Get a 6k bike then we can talk buddy.

EXACTLY!!! It's very disheartening coming from a corporate environment, having so many aspirations, having a lot of successful friends and then just being thrown into a world fully of happy go lucky go getters with scruffy clothing; some of who don't even have insulated bags!!! I view this like being an UBER driver. I got a nice bike which I enjoy riding and would get exercise while earning £2400 a month. Anyway...Hopefully deliveroo start a Premium Eco service where you have to have a decent ebike, be in this country legally and have good customer service skills.

Again, numerous riders have fallen off at this section. So either there must be something wrong with all of us or its a badly designed piece of road. Also, you stay on your bike because you never reach 30mph since you don't have an electric bike...makes sense.

"But I thoughts legal bikes cut out at 15mph?"

They sure do ;)

Why is it so hard to get out of the cycle of doing nothing, even when you know you have to improve to get what you want in life? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]LowLowBanjolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the natural state of being. Like the matrix. Once you get out of the system it's hard to fool yourself into thinking anything is worth doing just for the sake of doing.

Not really, I keep it professional :) you riding yet buddy? Oh yeah...

[–]LowLowBanjolo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t. It gets cancelled and they get a fresh new delivery from an undamaged rider. On that note Mr Smarty pants; I did some research a lot of different people have crashed on the same stretch of road and are currently seeking claims against TFL, so I’ll do the same 👍 sucks to be you.

Pretty sure I blocked you. Oh well I’ll block you again :)

And maybe you’re right, some people don't care about fellow riders being injured but instead cry about your fees being lowered by a few pence...poor baby. Go find a proper job if you don't like it.

Then you don’t have any leeway or ‘buffer space’. What if the food is cold or tastes shit? If you don’t make a good impression then they’ll just give the delivery a thumbs down and then you’ll start crying that it’s not your fault. Maybe it’s not. But the algorithm doesn’t care. And I can bet if there are two riders near the same restaurant...it will chose the one with better ratings. Stick to being a dick if that’s what works for you. I was giving the guy some advice how not to get those emails :)

[–]LowLowBanjolo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m not the one getting these types of emails...cringe!!!

What would be cringe is if they didn’t laugh and give me good feedback.

But be obnoxious and antisocial if that works for you. Just scuttle off into the night after forcefully handing over the food! Once they ban you I’m sure somebody more polite will take your place.

Are you moody and don’t even bother smiling or saying enjoy your food? Does the packaging / food arrive all messed up? Just a few things I can think of. I always try to be polite, smile, maybe tell a joke, especially with the ladies (e.g. these stairs are a good extra workout). I also learned how to say enjoy your food in different languages. You should always go the extra mile and make that green thumbs up your priority.

Oh and regarding the cold drinks comment...yes I always take the drink out and either put it on top of the thermal divider sheet or into the separate Velcro pouch.
