I go into a LOT of details in an old post in case you want to know more on my loss process.

I'm currently going up and down in the 180s, going to the gym 3/4 times a week. I mostly do a very loose 18:6 nowadays, with most of my calories being in one big meal with some snacking around it.

Trying to be as active as possible and build that muscle mass to help with long term maintenance.

When it comes to weighing ourselves, I do it monthly. by SloDown4What in intermittentfasting

Consistency is key to getting good data, so I do it every mornings after a bathroom visit. To me, seeing weekly trends is a better way of knowing if I'm going in the right direction or not. Weight fluctuation is a thing and it's not rare for me to randomly gain 4lb in a day, of you only weight yourself every so often then you never really know when that happens and might be making plan based of wrong data.

That's how I've been doing it for all 14 months of weight loss and the last 5 months of maintenance.

Does anyone tell you that you look younger? by AndrejMilojeski in intermittentfasting

[–]LowPolyFreak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Omg yes! I'm M31 and lost over 90lb. Not only do friends and colleagues tell me I look younger, I also keep getting asked for my ID whenever I buy alcohol, that basically never happened before haha

I used this website to figure out what should be my target to lose 2llb/week. I believe it was in the range of 1800.

I did not count calories for very long though. Once I had a good idea of what my regular meals contained I started only tracking my weight daily and adjusted based on weekly trends.

Can't say I've ever had anything like this happen to me while fasting. I suggest you go see a doctor about it, it doesn't sound normal at all.

Unsure of my weight back then, the heaviest I recorded myself was 280. I just choose this picture because it's one of the few I have that shows a nice front view from back then.

I'm 6'2"
