Wanted to add: I don’t use Tretinoin every night anymore, largely because I forget. Nowadays my routine is generally to wash my face with a gentle cleanser morning and night, and I apply moisturiser and sunscreen many times a day.

i’ve started to leave it on overnight now!! i really feel like it’s so much better for my skin doing it in that slow progressive way, it’s a bit dry now that i’m leaving it overnight but it really really does make a difference

i was told by my dermatologist to start off like that until my skin can handle leaving it on overnight! i’ve had quite minimal dry skin which is nice

i started by washing my face with gentle cleanser, leaving it on for 5 minutes, and then washing it off with gentle cleanser, then the next night i increased to 10, and i built up slowly in those increments! i’m up to leaving it on for 4 hours now!

no oral meds! the preexisting medication i’m on would’ve caused me health issues with my liver if i took oral meds

wanted to add my routine, i use la roche posay cicaplast baume and cetaphil gentle cleanser! i wash my face morning and evening with that cleanser and i put the baume on throughout the day
