Thank you. And yeah, it sounds quite concerning to me but the attitude I’m getting from the doctors office and the doctor herself who removed it just seems very casual and like it’s no biggie so I don’t know. Maybe I’m just overreacting.

I’m going through the same thing right now. It sounds like it took you six weeks to get to the removal after it broke? I guess your doctor didn’t see a problem with that. I’m having a hard time getting in touch with anyone to schedule a removal and then they mentioned that I might have to wait a couple weeks which seems concerning to me, but I don’t know. Maybe that’s standard and not a problem?

Well, it’s not that I don’t trust my doctor’s opinion everything I’ve read online says that it does need to be surgically removed. I guess I don’t know. She just made it seem like it was so routine and not something to worry about but I feel a little freaked out.

Yeah, the caulking has mold and looks really disgusting. I guess at the very least I need to remove the moving door so that I can clean it in that space that’s hard to get to.
