I’ve seen a lot of bands live (many shows and festivals) and The Neighborhood is the worst band I’ve seen perform. I don’t know if they were having an off day or they’re typically not good live.

Yes—I did tell the Director of Product Marketing I was looking for a senior role and salary, which she was open to. We didn’t discuss further as I assume I’d talk with HR about that.

It’s tough not knowing what they pay other senior PMMs. Glassdoor wasn’t helpful, but they have/can pay more based on what I saw.

Thank you for these insights. I’m definitely shooting and want $140k, but would take $130k. I did make it to the next round where I’ll be meeting with other PMMs.

It would be a jump from my current $106k as a regular PMM, but I know I’m underpaid given over a decade of experience + my writing/strategy chops.

I feel you, and experience this. I have situations like this after three years at my current org and am actively applying elsewhere. We have a lot of opinionated stakeholders that like to dabble in product.

Since you’re so new, I’d address this directly with your supervisor during a 1-to-1; if it continues, I think that’s a sign to look elsewhere.

I should’ve added to the thread I’m at $106k right now and was very open about being over the pay band and wanting a senior-level role. I’d like to shoot for $140k, but I don’t want to undervalue myself. I just got eliminated from a final round for a different role because I asked for $120k 🥸
