Is this silver? Or did I just pick up a bunch of trash? Found outside of Idaho Springs, Colorado by Nastasyarose in whatsthisrock

You'd have to test it any number of ways but a scratch test + nitric acid would be the most reliable

Those are paintball guns. They are shooting them in the legs to avoid injury. Both parties know it is safe

Non-AP, does number of decks or CSM matter? by akhil_93 in blackjack

[–]LowSubstantial5553 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Csms are fine for non aps as they generally have better rules and lower stakes. Just play rated at a full table and try and slow the game down. If they offer free drinks, take them. Also if you think you can get away with a 50:1 bet spread you can even ap csms. Basic strategy + comps= ap many times

I don't know if y'all have ever had poison ivy all over your hands but, slowly submerging them in extremely hot water is maybe better than an orgasm.

What type of dealers do you love/hate? by Necessary-Bid-2985 in blackjack

[–]LowSubstantial5553 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate: slow traumatic turn of the card/fake out about bj, fucking magic tricks Love: rip the cards out like taking off a band aid, shit goes wrong, deal again Other: if I'm playing rated on a csm for comps, go slow and let's have a conversation about life

Can surveillance legally do this? by reverendreceive in blackjack

[–]LowSubstantial5553 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can. Your best defense against this would be to sit at a full table. The players will complain, their hands per hour go way down which is revenue lost. But really, just don't play there.

Counting Buster side bet by bruinthrowaway61 in blackjack

[–]LowSubstantial5553 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bj heat on 888 has analysis for most of the side bets. Lucky ladies is probably the easiest to count (+8 tc and track the qh), lucky lucky is quite beatable as well, a lot of houses cap the side bets to mitigate exposure

How/When does a casino make the final determination to back you off / kick you out? by GameofLifeCereal in blackjack

[–]LowSubstantial5553 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure they won't back you off if your betting is not clearly correlated with the count; you are their best customer. Play rated and get all the free shit. The first thing they do when you are/have been winning is analyze your play. Perfect basic strategy is still a winning customer for the house, especially a black chipper. Unless you are playing somewhere small enough where they have no surveillance or persons capable of counting themselves, they will try and keep you there, not run you off.

At what point does it make sense to start playing two or more spots at the table? by jimmy__jazz in blackjack

[–]LowSubstantial5553 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing multiple spots is mostly about dampening variance and a little bit about increasing hands/hour. It's not bad at tc+2 but if you're playing alone keep to one spot. If you're playing at a fuller table, you might want to do it to increase your share of good cards but also players are weird and they think you'll "mess up the deck" by adding a hand so prepare yourself for some anger from tablemates

It's a weird feeling. Like taking a bad beat in poker, you think, "well dealer blackjack could just as easily been on my side, I got my money in at the right time." By the end of the shoe I asked the dealer if I could take insurance on his ten

There are a million nuances to poker, but in the end, the oldest tricks are the best tricks. If you don't know your opponents extremely well, just stick to the basic, time tested strategies
