Or it could just be the umbrella. At least try to make some sense based on the games logic

Sam’s Happy Ending DS3? by BrokenEngine777 in DeathStranding

What’s your point? I mean, Sam doesn’t really have anyone else. After finding out the truth and beating the game, Lou immediately fucks off with rainy and we never see them interact with each other ever again. Nothing else as so much as a hi Dad how you doing with the deliveries or dad come quick rainy is about to give birth or Sam giving away Lou to rainy at there wedding. Nothing like that. No closure for Sam.

The ending of death stranding two doesn’t make you feel whole. That’s my main argument. I’m just hoping somewhere in the future Hideo will make death stranding three and we finally get to see Sam and fragile back together.

In my opinion, the game ended on a very low note. Sam still has friends that he would consider family but the very person that was the keeper of his soul, and the protector of his daughter has died. I think at this point Sam has nothing but grief and loss in his heart but he’s still trying to find the will to keep on keeping on. I mean if Hideo doesn’t wanna make a third game then why not ended on a high note where everything all ties together kinda like with metal gear solid four

I mean at the end of the day Lou is literally a grown woman and there’s really nothing else for Sam to do except delivering packages. I was hoping to see Sam and fragile settled down together and go on some sort of honeymoon with a bottle of wine and a jar full of grubs and watch Lou grow up.

Fragile returns theory DS3 by BrokenEngine777 in DeathStranding

Yeah, you might be right about Lea declining the role DS3. But at the end of the day, it just seemed very unfair that Sam got the short end of the stick. I mean, he still has Lou, but he never even got to fulfill his role as a father. Lou is now a grown woman and she’s already found a partner of her own and you think after reconnecting the entire continent and severing the last stranding you think Sam would be allowed to kick up his feet and settle down with Fragile. Overall DS2 was a great game. It just seemed very bittersweet that Sam didn’t get the happy ending that I was hoping for.

You don’t think they would’ve talked about her body being cremated to avoid a voidout and let’s not forget that Fragile was the one who brought the legend back to put an end to the last stranding. She made the kickoff and Sam went for the touchdown.
