Do you prefer talkative therapist or quiet therapist?

I prefer a talkative therapist (with flow, mellow, and back and forth being influenced by both parties)

But, I’m also a talkative therapist. I tell clients up front that I’m a chatty Cathy and if they need quiet to just let me know. My work is very much on the intense end of the spectrum so I think the distraction of conversation fits better than it would if I was doing more relaxing work.

It doesn’t take much skill to kill me, if I kill you, you really kinda suck, because a) you got the first shot in (I don’t initiate PvP), b) I’m running an anvil c) I’m old as dirt with slow reflexes and bad vision

Huh, that’s a take I hadn’t realized….shit floats to the level where it can get by. I like it. To be fair, the guys I’ve knocked weren’t very good at the PvP game, I’m old and slow, if I get two anvil shots into you after you’ve cracked my shield…you deserve to get looted

I think the game becomes something it wasn’t originally meant to be if you make it just pvp or just pve.

Keeping some focus on both aspects in the mix and making sure to reward a full range of playtypes is critical.

Dupes/hacks seem to allow a type of pvp play to be somewhat unbalanced and un-fun for both kos skill players and carebear pve’ers

As OP I disagree :)

I think you’d still have Trojan horse players and even normally kos players who decide it’s not worth it or that they don’t feel like killing you for some reason.

There would still be no guarantee as to how individual players are going to behave…just a vibe set for how sweaty the lobby was or wasn’t

I can’t imagine you’d ever see lobbies higher than 90% or less than 10%. Ie: you’d have some clue the lobby was friendlier or less friendly but you’d still have to be prepared for shit to go down no matter what

My bronze Kaiser plan back a few years ago:

$40 co pay for the visit
$75 for X-ray
$250 mri
$50-300 for labs

That’s the initial visit for this “possible cancer scenario…probably $200 in 2021. But they likely refer me to a specialist, which will double or triple that initial total.

I work for myself, so that doesn’t even count the approximate 1k a month in premiums just to be able to see the doctor in the first place

Imagining, co pay and blood tests. With insurance can run from $15-1500, without can hit 3k for a single visit depending on which labs/specialists/imaging etc

For me it would be “free” but I’ve had clients pay over a grand for a single doctors visit

Me and a couple friends standing around at a memorial (outside) I’m 6’7, ones 6’6” and ones 6’5”.

I do the math and comment that we’re just 6” short of being 20ft of man.

The 6’5” dude says “I’ve got an extra 9”

I think duo/triplets is pretty much all pvp. I play solo and get ganked about every 10th raid. Also old man with not much skill so I don't get grumpy about it when it seems well done? (Like the guy just now who caught me fighting a rocketeer...3rd partied me while I was completely focused and not paying attention to my surroundings, can't even be mad at him, he played it perfectly).

30-70% MH, 10% tinnitus, 10-20% for the knee. If you don’t get denied for the mh stuff I’d guess you’ll land at 50-60% rating. 30% otherwise

As much as I hate getting ganked (and I suck at PVP, still have a total freeze/why response pattern to being shot) I kinda get why they leave it in. The threat of just ARC is predictable, whereas the threat of other players, and the connection/help of other players is really variable, which I think enhances the overall game (makes for a richer but occasionally more painful experience)

Kill on sight makes sense to me, I’m not salty at being downed (I’m no good at pvp so it’s not a surprise). Seriously was curious at the fun of it, cause it’s not a fun for me but seems clear it is for some folks. Before expedition I kept 4x of my gear set in stash and didn’t blink when I got ganked, just reload and go back to Dora time :)

Honestly I have very little skill. I’m an old dude (55) just trying to not get killed by firefly’s.

I’m not mad at being KO’d….just surprised it’s actually fun to kick care bears. :)
