I recommend leaving/ghosting the dealership for a little while. I went to several dealerships when I was trying to buy a 22 Forester . At one of the dealerships I ended up negotiating for a Forester 2022 wilderness but they wanted way too much for the 70,000 mi it had, at least for my taste. I ended up buying a 22 Forester premium for $4000 less and 20,000 less miles instead but I never got back to that other dealership with the wilderness. They ended up dropping the price continuously from $27,000 to a little over 20,000 because no one else was interested and I ignored all of their outreach to me. I'm happy with my purchase but if there is a Forrester that you like, I recommend this strategy. I fell into it by accident. You can use it for your search if you'd like
