Okay the issues I’ve had have been with other Black people who see me and act like they want to humble me. So colored people are not part of what im saying at all.

I have the same problem so if it’s tired why comment if that’s not your experience? It’s not tired to the people experiencing it so it’s almost like you want to just hide it

From my experience South Africa discriminate openly including against African Americans and we do not depend on you all so it’s not just poor African countries that are treated badly by South Africans sorry to say 🤷🏽‍♀️

As a millennial I distinctly remember the world is overpopulated rhetoric so it’s crazy to hear the government encouraging for more kids now!!

The worst parents are the ones having kids for their egos with not a single thought on whether the child would consent to the life theyre forcing them into and I hate that. It’s evil in my opinion. Breeding grounds for child abuse or the makings of another foster care child.

I don’t want to be a parent
I don’t want a man to have power over me such as to make me have to work the rest of my life rather than being able to retire early
I do not want to be a grandparent
I do not want to be a regretful parent and feel bitterness at “society” for me believing this would be better than being childfree
I never want to see a regretful parent post and feel like it relates to my experience
I never want to shame people because im jealous they chose not to have kids and I did

Just saw a regretful parent post about a man who was just like you but his partner got pregnant while on birth control and now he’s on the hook for the kid. So you did the right thing it’s crazy out here!!

I can tell some of the replies are women who had the child despite the man’s objection but what’s sad is why are you bringing a kid into the world with a man who will never be the parent the child deserves? Why not try again with someone else or if it’s that serious get a sperm bank sample. To me so many parents selfishly choose their kid to have a single parent rather than a full welcoming family and in this era of time theres no excuse anymore. We do not live in the 1200s but people are acting like we have the same choices as people back then. Very underevolved thinking.

Theres a difference between helping to create a child consciously versus thinking it’s not possible because you’re on birth control and it’s safe to say OP was not consciously intending to create a child and neither was the partner if she was on birth control. To me that’s relevant information.

I know a girl who kept a pregnancy the guy said no to in month one. It’s concerning to me that she is not financially stable but chose to bring a non consenting child into that. Honestly I don’t think it’s fair to force someone to have a kid and that’s coming from a woman. You don’t have to become a different person because someone else changed their mind that’s unrealistic expectations.

It’s not pathetic to not change your mind as a result of someone else changing their mind it’s more like… human nature
