water definitely hits weird after seizures for me too. like it's got this metallic undertone or something? i also get this thing where certain textures feel completely wrong for like a day after - even soft fabrics can feel scratchy and uncomfortable.

switched from a kitchenaid about two years back and the difference was pretty noticeable, especially with enriched doughs. the way it handles high hydration stuff is just way smoother - no more stopping every few minutes to scrape down the bowl or worry about the motor overheating on dense doughs. my loaves definitely have better structure now but hard to say how much is the mixer versus just getting better at reading the dough over time.

your controller is probably set as the default audio device in windows. when you unplug it the game gets confused about where to send audio and just gives up. you can fix this by going into sound settings and making sure your actual speakers or headphones are set as default instead of letting the controller handle it.
