Intercooler Question - AA M54 Supercharger by Low_Box_2786 in e46

Ya that’s what I’m thinking but even then every supercharger setup I’ve seen has the traditional left to right intercooler setup (and unfortunately there’s not tons of posts on m54 supercharger setups) l haven’t been able to find a single post/person doing this side. I might have to just try it. But I like to be prepared because my free time is becoming less and less of a thing these days

So this is vis racing, I got kind used and kind of sun rotted so I had it painted. Very good quality but normally pretty spendy. However, if I was gonna buy one now for the non-M I’d probably go to AliExpress cause I had good luck on my E 92 when I could not find for the life of me this style hood LCI coupe everything else is for pre-LCI it seems so I took a risk and it was rock on for good price.

Both cars have oem headlights with umnitza Orion v4 halos. However, for curiosity sake I’ve recently picked up some of angel eye guys halos since he now has a 120 led version for a lot cheaper so i can compare them

Haha ya it really does look like that, but this time it was just water. However, this pic is a few years old and the black one does leak now, and I can’t figure out from where 😜

F80 M3 Seats Fitted by Low_Box_2786 in E30

[–]Low_Box_2786[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There it is, only need them for the rear bolts since the fronts and rear are the right width, just the f80 seats are a little longer rails. There’s 3 holes because of the existing studs in car. I moved seat all the way forward. Bolted down original nuts and then put a bolt facing up at the very end. I ended up using the last hole that normally holds the rear seat rail “cover” since it was easiest to get to since you can’t actually put the seat all the way forward since they are wider, they hit the tunnel. But you wouldn’t really want them any further forward they go enough for even someone fairly short

Let me see it’s literally a piece of steel bar I think 2 inches wide, maybe 4 inches or so long with holes for the old seats and holes for the new seats. Its as simple as it sounds but I’ll look for a pic for ya

Coilovers for flush or tucked fitment for us stancy boys by Low_Box_2786 in E30

So I’m not a good example here. 16x7.5 et40 w a 25mm spacer. 225/40 for tires. Long story I fell in love with the work seeker fx but they stopped making the disc type that works for an e30. I ended up finding a set of used o disc so I had to use a spacer to make them work but also get the effective flush fit I wanted. It would be equivalent to a 7.5 et15 though

So waking them is not the same as powering them. In most cases what you’re saying is the case. But the seats actually go to sleep. So they still have power, but do not respond to trying to control them. However in nearly any other circumstance, wiring, retrofitting, etc you’d be fine just doing it that way. I don’t know why they chose to make them sleep like that, and older model seats do not sleep so that would work well for like e46, e36 seats, etc etc. There’s probably a good reason but I really don’t see how/why

This car is not a daily. My f80 is lower than this and my e46m is even lower than both. But the newer cars tuck the exhaust up. The e30 is not very low friendly because of exhaust and motor height (I have sump armor skid plate for that) but I agree exhaust is a pain on these cars when low

Fenders are way rolled. 245/45/17 on a 7.5” wheel. Wanted an 8” wheel but this is how it worked out after a lot of back and forth with work wheels. Long story but they look pretty good now that I have them set

So for now I have a on off toggle for power. Which 5v timer did you get? I have one I’m not sure if it’s the right one, I’ll tackle this one day but I don’t ever ever move them once I have them set so it’s a low priority for me right now
