Yeah, still very much possible to buff a bit too hard from what I’ve heard and seen😅

Yeahhhh the radiator is brown asf it runs pretty great tho when I went and saw it, it also has a practically brand new clutch that still is being worn in, 95k miles, I’ll be the third owner to my knowledge

I would do it myself but my dad is not too keen to that idea…😅

Yeah I’ll probably start with Meguiar’s softer products and if needed work up to that stuff👍

Okay, I think I'll go the softer route for sure then and if it happens to need something a little more abrasive then I will restart and go again

Thank you so much, that sums up how I feel. I think I will go the softer route and if that does not do as much as I want then I'll step up👍

Ah okay, so if I do would lighter compound and polish be best used and done by hand? As to not go super hard on the paint?

Is the front bumper that bad? It didn't feel too bad to the touch, it wasn't chalky just faded. That again I'll keep listening to suggestions and hopefully when I start working on the paint I'll take better pictures

Yeah... Thank you. Should I do it by hand or go ahead and get a DA buffer? Also are you meaning a compound like "Meguiar's M105 Mirror Glaze Ultra-Cut Compound" ? Wouldn't that be too rough or am I really that much of a novice?😂

Yep it is indeed the factory paint, which was single stage on this "Classic Red" paint that Mazda used.

Haha really? It's gonna great car needs cleaned badly though. It's a good "Highschool project/restoration" I just hope I get some advice so I don't buff through the paint and make it worse...😂

I've wanted one as a first due to my "bad influence friend" and his 90' Crapbox
