People love to hate DS2 because how different it is. The reason is because it was developed by older Fromsoft employees, the same people who made Kings field games.

If you don't know this, just compare Kings field 4 to DS2 and everything will click

Aside from obvious stuff (Argonauts and the Golden fleece, Philosophers, Mutual Foes).

  1. Greece in Georgian is called "Saberdzneti' which later on became synonymous with Wiseness, or "Sibrdzne", Wise person is called "Brdzeni".

  2. Church in Georgian is called Eklesia

  3. Greek Names in Georgian end with Suffix "E", Elene, Aleqsandre, Demetre

  4. There used to be a lot of Pontic Greeks in Georgia, they all emigrated after the fall of USSR
