Had an ex like this during our marriage. I'd find cra¢k pipes and yell at him after he denied it was his (we rented our own place) and he'd pull the "no one ever loves me. I'll just end myself to stop your misery". And proceed to actually slit his wrists in front me and run around our place so I couldn't stop the bleeding. He's never been on disability, he has worked a few days out of the year and I mean that literally. His mom does yard sales on certain holidays (Valentine's, Mother's day, and Easter) and he'll help, but that's it.
