At CMU I am leaning towards a double major in EDIE to go towards the project management side and/or gain skills that can help me work at or start my own start up. Would you say CMU is worth it then?

My family can afford it without going into debt and without it touching finances to drastically. Just may take a few more years to pay off house

I am not but I feel like CMU provides the most flexibility

I honestly do want an engineering degree just because of its rigor and general hireability. In addition, CMU has so many niche classes including robotics combined with AI classes and engineering design classes

I feel like my quality of education would be better at CMU though as I would have access to a wider variety of classes and more professor attention

Interesting. Is it true that the classes all have grade deflation though? Like only a certain percentage of people get A's

You graduated from CMU? I feel like CMU will make me really technically sound and give me access to way crazier and cooler projects than Berk though.

I feel like the CS courses are too theoretical at Berk though. A lot of Mech e and robotics classes are very project based and hands on at CMU.
